After three events and Only two more events left the competition for second place is tight and the first place spot is still within reach. The scoring was modified to have all competing squads on each of the teams. So for Big Bear the scoring was any squads over-all placing, not recognizing what category they raced. The question will be who is racing these next events since only the top 4 scores are used for each team.

Bakers Dozen
The Mid-Atlantic Endurance Cup is off and running! As of now there are 4 teams/clubs in the running, but there is still time to sign up and be part of the action. The first race of the Cup was the 13 Hour of Bakers Dozen that had record turnout in it's second year and had to cap entries. The clubs in play at the race were DCMTB\CityBikes, Gripped Films\ Kenda, The Bike Lane, and Pedal Shop. After the dust had settled DCMTB/CityBikes was able to pull into the lead, with Bike Lane trailing behind. In the final totals the Bike Lane was able to hold off the Gripped Films/ Kenda gang. The next stop is the 12 hours of Lodi May 3. To any other clubs out there that wants in on the action you need to sign up before the 3rd race in the series Big Bear. Your previous results will count towards the cup. For more info go to http://midatlanticendurancecup.googlepages.com/index.htm

Date Change for the 12 Hours of Cranky Monkey
The date for the 12 Hours of Cranky Monkey Mountain Bike Relay Race at the
Quantico Marine Corp Base has been changed to Saturday, June 28th, 2008.
Everything else remains unchanged…same sweet course, same great venue,
same excellent experience… just one week later.

Another Race is known!
Found out that the 12 Hours of Cranky Monkey is going to happen. Looks to be June 21st. Have two races left, 13Hours of Bakers Dozen, and 18Hours of Scouts Honor. For Scout's honor sounds like Ed might be doing another 12 hour race as well. We will have the 18Hour race if stays with the August date it has had in years past.
